Job Description

Premier Healthcare is seeking a skilled and experienced Corporate Compliance Officer to join our team and ensure that we adhere to all necessary regulatory and legal requirements across our operations. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance within multiple states, including New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversight of the compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to post-acute and long-term care.
  2. Develop, implement, educate and enforce compliance policies and procedures across multiple facilities.
  3. Must maintain an in-depth knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements and healthcare and general business accounting specific to New York , Pennsylvania , and Florida .
  4. Conducts, assigns and reviews an auditing program on a regular basis and provides assessment and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
  5. Advises leadership and staff on regulatory changes.
  6. Develops training programs and educational initiatives for staff to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  7. Investigate and resolve any compliance violations or issues that arise.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to maintain a culture of ethical behavior and regulatory adherence.
  9. Work closely with Executive leadership and legal teams to mitigate risks and prevent violations.

Qualifications:

  1. Must have prior experience as a Corporate Compliance Officer in the healthcare sector, specifically in post-acute and long-term care settings.
  2. Extensive knowledge of compliance requirements for New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida.
  3. Proven track record of successful compliance audits and working with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, state-specific requirements).
  4. Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, including the operational, legal, and regulatory aspects of post-acute and long-term care.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  6. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, law, business, or related field . Certification in healthcare compliance (CHC) is preferred.

Experience:

  1. Experience in managing compliance programs for multi-state healthcare operations is a must.
