Position Overview:
We are seeking an organized, energetic, and detail-oriented Event Assistant to support the planning and execution of events. As an Event Assistant, you will work closely with the event team to ensure every aspect of an event is handled efficiently and professionally. This role is perfect for someone with excellent communication skills, a passion for event planning, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events, including conferences, trade shows, corporate meetings, and social gatherings.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, maintaining event timelines, and preparing materials.
  • Coordinate on-site event setup, registration, and teardown, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Maintain an inventory of event supplies and manage their distribution.
  • Respond to inquiries from clients, guests, or team members regarding event details.
  • Support event promotion efforts, including creating and distributing marketing materials or social media posts.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the event to ensure client and attendee satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management tools or software.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a problem-solving mindset.
