Executive Office Assistant Intern– (10-week High School Internship) Who We Are The Denver International Airport (DEN) Executive Office division is actively seeking an enthusiastic
Executive Office Intern (“DENtern”) to contribute to their division. As part of DEN's Strategic Plan, Vision 100, which envisions reaching 100 million annual passengers, the Executive Office plays a pivotal role in transforming the aviation industry. This role will offer senior and executive-level support to the airport’s executive vice presidents. Job duties will span from administrative support to small scale project management, and responsibility for working with department staff to manage calendars and coordinate meetings, as well as offer other support and coordination for office projects.

What You’ll Do As an intern you will get to experience working on projects such as, but not limited to:
- Project #1- Document Accessibility: Ensuring that all documents meet accessibility standards.
- Project #2 - Travel Expense Reports: Assisting with the preparation and submission of travel expense reports.
- Project #3 - Standard Operating Procedures Management: Helping to manage and update standard operating procedures.
- Project #4 - Ad Hoc CEO Projects: Supporting various projects as assigned by the CEO.
- Project #5 – Assisting the Executive Office Administration team with various clerical needs such as distributing weekly reminders, scheduling coordination, conference room reservations, and other items.

Minimum Qualifications - Education Requirement: This position is open to 16 to 18-year old's who are enrolled in high school, are homeschooled, or have graduated high school within the past 12 months.

Location Flexibility The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed.
Internship Duration and Hours: This is a 10-week internship with a completion date of
Friday, August 8, 2025 , with typical hours not exceeding 35 hours per week.
Compensation Executive Assistant- 10- week High School intern The City and County of Denver offers a competitive pay rate to commensurate with education. The salary for this position is
$18.81 per hour , based on education. Denver International Airport emerging talent positions are required to attend all sessions of professional development within the cohort model. You will be onboarded with a cohort of peers to begin to help you develop your network across the aviation industry.
