Agree is a new payments platform built on top of e-signature that fully integrates money movement and contracts. We are excited to be expanding our founding team; we're looking for a talented and experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer to help us build cutting-edge features to help us grow and move further up-market.

Role Description

As a senior member of the engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and future-state of our platform. You will work directly with everyone on the team from the CEO to the CTO to the Head of Design. This role requires a deep understanding of both the front-end and back-end, with a strong emphasis on delivering a seamless user-experience.

The ideal candidate has experience working in FinTech and/or LegalTech, thrives in React, has worked with Elixir’s Phoenix/LiveView frameworks, knows their way around Postgres databases, and is comfortable in third-party APIs. Bonus points if you have an interest in using Generative AI in conjunction with OCR and document processing at scale.

Our stack consists of an Elixir/Phoenix monolith coupled with React/Phoenix LiveView and Tailwind frontend bridge driving the UI and user experience. We run primarily on Fly.io and also utilize technologies like Postgres, Tigris (S3), Oban, Docker, and Github Actions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development
• Proficiency in React/Vite/Svelte (or similar), HTML, and CSS
• Experience working with third-party APIs and developing your own RESTful APIs
• Strong knowledge of back-end development using languages like Node.js, Python, Golang, Elixir or Ruby
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Bonus: experience with Elixir/Phoenix/LiveView stack or having integrated frontend frameworks into Phoenix LiveView
• Bonus: experience with vector databases or vector extensions, like pg_vector
• Bonus: previously having worked in the FinTech industry and/or experience integrating Stripe or similar payment providers
