Oxford Solutions is working with a growing manufacturing company seeking a Junior Sales Engineer. The preferred candidate will have a background in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. This role offers a blend of technical expertise and sales support, making it ideal for someone looking to transition from process engineering into a sales-focused position. The Junior Sales Engineer will play a key role in developing new business opportunities, optimizing fabricated parts, and collaborating with internal teams to drive efficiency and growth.

Essential Functions

• Gather and analyze product and production data to support fabrication processes.
• Research and source raw materials for manufacturing solutions.
• Create engineering drawings to assist with process documentation and cost estimation.
• Work with the estimating team to optimize fabricated part designs for efficiency and cost savings.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and support business development.
• Engage in cold calling and outreach to develop potential customer relationships.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and cost analyses for new projects.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to align strategies.
• Assist in sales support activities, including webinars, conferences, and trade shows.
• Maintain accurate records of research, quotations, and project data.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience).
• AutoCAD experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe PDF.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to learning.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Prior experience in quotation, project, or material management is a plus.
