Landscape Architecture Intern

Overview:
Becker Morgan Group is seeking a passionate and creative Landscape Architecture Intern to join our team. This internship provides an opportunity for students pursuing a degree in Landscape Architecture to gain hands-on experience working on innovative and sustainable design projects. Interns will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create meaningful outdoor spaces that enhance communities and environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development of landscape design concepts, plans, and graphics.
• Support the preparation of construction documents, including planting plans, grading plans, and hardscape details.
• Conduct site analysis, including evaluating existing conditions and environmental factors.
• Research materials, plant species, and sustainable design practices to inform project development.
• Participate in project meetings and site visits to observe and document progress.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and planners to integrate landscape design into broader project goals.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Landscape Architecture degree program.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of site planning, planting design, and sustainable landscape practices.
• Strong graphic communication skills, including hand-drawing and digital rendering.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
• A proactive and creative mindset, with a passion for landscape design.
• Valid Drivers license required.
