Salary Range - $55,560 (entry level range) - $116,800+ (Sr. Family Law Paralegal Experience)

What does a Paralegal do at MFL?

• Experienced and knowledgeable in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Mateo, and Santa Clara County preferred and other counties’ judicial procedures.
• Research and analyze statutes, judicial decisions, and legal codes;
• Prepare briefs, pleadings, Marital Settlement Agreements, parenting plans, custody orders, child support orders, client declarations, forms, and other pleadings;
• Schedule hearings and appointments, field client calls, compose and type routine correspondence, and route incoming mail; and
• File correspondence and legal documents.

Experience:

• 1 to 4+ years of experience as a Paralegal within Family Law;
• Demonstrated experience in family law is a plus
• Experience with Lawyaw, SalesForce, and NetDocs is a plus.
• Experience filing court documents using Odyssey and One Legal is essential.
• Compassion for and desire to help others.
