Payroll Specialist (40644)

Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for a Payroll Specialist. This client is looking for someone with 2+ years of payroll experience, strong attention to detail, and highly organized.

The salary range for this position starts at $26/hr.

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process and ensure employees are paid in an accurate and timely manner.
• Review and sync timecards.
• Resolve discrepancies with employees and supervisors.
• Enter and compute payroll information into accounting systems.
• Facilitate the reconciliation of PTO in HR and Payroll systems.
• Process garnishments to vendors.
• Address employees pay-related concerns and provide payroll information.
• Create intercompany billing for insurance.
• Additional general duties and special projects as requested/assigned.

The Payroll Specialist will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Associates degree or 3+ years of payroll experience.
• Experience with payroll software.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
