Job Description Job Description Job Title: Plastic Injection Mold Operator -- Weekly Pay -- Multiple Shifts Open! Job Description Join our innovative injection molding company specializing in producing small plastic pieces such as ice scoops, nail polish holders, CD and DVD cases. We are expanding our product line to include new products for other manufacturers in the area. We offer a dynamic work environment with plenty of opportunities for growth. Responsibilities Install mold using hoist or forklift and manually secure mold in press Set up and shut down molds according to set-up sheet and diagram, properly attaching/removing water lines and safety equipment Start machine, engage feed, and observe operation Move machine controls to adjust machine to meet product specifications Replace worn machine accessories such as controls or switches Clean press, molds, and parts Pay: $19 - $25 per hour (depends on experience) Essential Skills ~ Minimum 6 months of tenure in most recent position ~ Ability to lift 50lbs independently ~6+ months machine operating experience ~6+ months machine set up/troubleshooting experience Work Environment Work in a climate-controlled, heated, and air-conditioned facility. The workspace is large and spacious, with each operator having a significant area and multiple machines. Shifts are Monday to Friday with varying hours for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, each offering shift differentials. The dress code is relaxed, allowing for pants or shorts in summer, t-shirts, hair up, and steel-toed shoes.
