Entech is hiring an AWS Developer-(Python) for a financial services client. This is a hybrid role that involves working onsite in Malvern, PA, 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Provides intermediate level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases. Integrates third party products and has strong troubleshooting skills. Translates technical specifications into code for moderately complex new or enhancement projects for internal clients. Writes programs, develops code, tests artifacts, and produces reports. Employs software development techniques to ensure tests are implemented in a way that supports automation.
• Elevates code into the development, test, and production environments on schedule. Provides follow up production support. Submits change control requests and documents.
• Follows software development methodology. Follows development architecture standards. Participates in design, code, and test inspections throughout the life cycle to identify issues. Participates in systems analysis activities.
• Understands client business functions and technology needs. Understands client's tools, technologies, and applications/databases, including those that interface with business area and systems.
• Learns and complies with Information Technology and Information Security policies and procedures. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

SQL Core Database Management Concepts (View, creation Materialized, Views, File Types, Performance Enhancement Techniques, etc) GraphQL Docker Containers AWS (specifically) ECS Fargate DynamoDb S3 Lambda CloudFront CloudFormation Some UI experience is preferred

Preferably experience with:

Languages: Python (minimum of 4+ years)

• SQL Core Database Management Concepts
• View creation
• Materialized Views
• File Types
• Performance Enhancement Techniques
• Iceberg table formats / Parquet file types/etc
• ETL
• Glue Tables
• GraphQL
• Docker Containers AWS (specifically)
• DynamoDb / S3
• Lambda
• CloudFormation templates
• Python Testing Frameworks

*We are looking for candidates willing to work directly on our W2.
