Are you a dedicated School Counselor looking for a flexible, remote opportunity? We are seeking a licensed School Counselor in New Mexico to provide academic, career, and mental health counseling to high school students in a fully virtual environment. This is a contracted, hourly position for 30 hours per week (Monday Thursday, 8 AM 4 PM) , allowing you to support students while working from home.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
? A Masters degree in Counseling, School Counseling, or a related field
? At least 2 years of experience as a school counselor
? Current state licensure to practice as a School Counselor in New Mexico

• Guide students through New Mexico High School Graduation Requirements , ensuring they stay on track
• Assist with district and state testing , including identifying students eligible for graduation
• Support students in setting and achieving academic goals
• Provide mental health counseling as needed to support student well-being
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student success
• Manage a variable caseload serving all high school students (256 students total), as needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in pliance with school policies
• Utilize virtual platforms to conduct remote counseling sessions and provide resources

• Strong understanding of academic advising, graduation planning, and student assessment
• Experience working with high school students in a counseling capacity
• Proficiency in virtual learning platforms and teletherapy tools
• Excellent munication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote school team

• Type: Contract (1099)
• Hours: 30 hours per week ( Monday Thursday, 8 AM 4 PM)
• Caseload: Varies (Supports all high school students 256 total)
• pensation: Hourly rate based on experience
