A bit about us:

Our fast-growing real estate development client is in search of a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join its team! The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in full cycle accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. This position requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience, preferably in the construction industry.

1. Oversee the full cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
2. Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
3. Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
4. Conduct regular ledger reconciliation and manage month-end and year-end close processes.
5. Develop and implement effective financial strategies to enhance overall business performance.
6. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
7. Participate in tax preparations and filings.
8. Provide financial insights and recommendations based on company performance and market trends.
9. Facilitate and promote a team-oriented and collaborative environment.

Job Details

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation is highly preferred.
2. Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction or real estate development industry.
3. Proficient in full cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
4. Exceptional analytical skills and experience creating reports and presentations.
5. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
6. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
7. High attention to detail and accuracy.
