Job Description
Structural Welder: Job Description We are looking for 15 skilled structural welders with fitting experience to join our team on the first shift. The work hours are from 5am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate must be proficient in MIG and Flux welding, able to read blueprints and tape measures, knowledgeable in setting amperage and voltage on welding machines, and skilled in grinding welds. Additionally, the candidate must be able to weld in the 3G (vertical) position.
Responsibilities - Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
- Set up components for welding according to specifications, such as cutting material with powered saws to match measurements.
- Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
- Align components using calipers, rulers, and other tools, and clamp pieces.
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).
- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
Essential Skills - Proficient in MIG and Flux welding.
- Ability to read blueprints and tape measures.
- Knowledge of setting amperage and voltage on welding machines.
- Ability to weld in 3G (vertical) position.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Experience in fabrication and production.
- Ability to operate angle grinders.
- Skill in reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.
- Attention to detail in aligning components and clamping pieces.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00
