About the Role:

This high-growth, high-impact internship program with TradedNY and TradedNJ offers hands-on experience in real estate research, content creation, and network building across the New York and New Jersey markets. Interns will conduct market research, interview industry professionals, create compelling content for social channels, and collaborate with the team to expand our reach.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor real estate news platforms to identify key topics and trends. 
• Monitor and maintain an organized list of notable news topics and industry updates.
• Conduct interviews with regional thought leaders in the NY/NJ market. 
• Develop tailored discussion topics; coordinate scheduling and meeting logistics.
• Summarize the most compelling takeaways for Traded content.
• Produce high-quality social media posts for TradedNY and TradedNJ and evaluate the results.
• Develop strategies to grow new and existing social pages.
• Draft weekly blog posts on noteworthy real estate topics.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to create a real estate-focused media content calendar.
• Strategize on new ideas that bring valuable insights to followers.
• Work closely with the marketing/design team to ensure all content aligns with TradedNY/TradedNJ’s brand identity.
• Attend consistent virtual meetings to discuss content ideas and ensure seamless operations.
• Perform in a virtual team setting at a tech-forward company.

Basic Qualifications:

• Skilled in interviewing, writing, and summarizing complex topics.
• Spotting emerging real estate trends and identifying noteworthy transactions.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and exceptional interpersonal skills
• Social-first mindset; familiarity with Instagram content creation and engagement tools (polls, stories, IG Live).
• Juggling multiple tasks—research, interviews, content drafting—within tight deadlines.
• Driven to uncover new ideas and engage with industry stakeholders.
• Experience in real estate, PR, and communications preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, real estate, or social media marketing preferred.
