**Position: Travel Counselor - Part Time**
**Location:** This is a fully remote position, and candidates must reside in Massachusetts.

We are a dynamic tour operator dedicated to providing exceptional international small group tours for older Americans. We are looking for passionate professionals who want to contribute their skills to our growing team and help create memorable travel experiences for our guests.
**Role Overview:**
As a Travel Counselor, you will be an integral part of our Reservations and Customer Service team. We are seeking a friendly and articulate individual who is committed to delivering outstanding customer service. Your excellent listening, communication, and telephone skills will be essential as you assist our mature guests in planning their travel adventures. You will provide personalized attention and care before, during, and after their tours.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist customers with incoming calls related to service and sales, ensuring a professional and courteous experience.
- Maintain a high standard of telephone etiquette on all calls.
- Conduct outbound calls as necessary, including follow-ups and collections.
- Update and manage reservation information in line with company guidelines.
- Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and quality assurance.
- Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and create a positive work environment.
- Engage in discussions with team members to enhance understanding of departmental processes and policies.
- Take on additional projects as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
- A minimum of two years of experience in a customer service role.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact with mature guests in a courteous, calm, and empathetic manner.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- International travel experience (outside of North America) is preferred.
- Experience in a call or contact center is a plus.
