Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Location: East San Francisco Bay Area, CA

Shift Time: Night Shift (9:00 PM - 5:30 AM PST)

Full-Time Direct Hire W2

Salary: $60K - $65K

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and optimize warehouse operations, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and safe workflow. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, monitoring inventory levels, and implementing best practices to drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Supervise, hire, train, and develop warehouse staff.
• Monitor inventory levels, ensuring timely receiving and outbound shipments.
• Conduct daily and weekly safety and 5S audits.
• Implement and maintain best warehouse practices to optimize space and organization.
• Address and resolve operational issues, including customer complaints and internal concerns.
• Track and report metrics related to productivity and inventory levels.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor staff attendance and performance, providing coaching or corrective actions as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience in a transportation, warehousing, or distribution environment.
• Experiance in a warehouse supervision or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate teams, drive performance, and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
• Forklift certification and hands-on operating experience.
• Experience with inventory management software (preferably Sage and Cargowise).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Sage, Oracle).
