Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Funeral Director at Warenski Funeral Home in American Fork, Utah. The Funeral Director will be responsible for coordinating funeral arrangements, conducting embalming procedures, providing family services, communicating with clients, and delivering exceptional customer service on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Embalming and Funeral Homes expertise
• Experience in providing compassionate Family Services
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• State licensure and certification as a Funeral Director, embalmer, or related field
• Valid Utah Drivers License

Obligations

• Arrangement planning with individuals and families to pre-plan and plan funerals
• Maintain an open schedule when on call to provide necessary services to all clients
• Electronically submit legal documents such as burial permits and death certificates
• Prepare body to be viewed, cremated or buried by embalming, setting features, adding makeup, and dressing
• Transportation and/or removal of body to funeral home or services
• Set up the venue for funeral services
• Contact and collaborate with cemeteries, floral, maker/vault personnels
