MJY Construction is a growing insurance claim restoration company. With a reputation for excellence and unmatched customer service, we specialize in helping property owners recover quickly and efficiently from storm,water and fire damage. We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Storm Restoration Estimator fluent in Xactimate to join our dynamic team.

Job Description:

The Storm Restoration Estimator will be responsible for creating accurate estimates for restoration projects, managing the estimation process from start to finish, and working closely with project managers, insurance adjusters, and clients. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Xactimate and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Xactimate to prepare detailed, accurate, and competitive estimates for Storm damage restoration projects.
• Perform job site inspections via our project management software
• Work closely with insurance adjusters to ensure estimates are aligned with their requirements and standards.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure the accuracy of job scopes and budgets.
• Submit and track estimates to ensure timely project approvals and job commencement.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients throughout the estimation and approval process.
• Assist in negotiating settlements with insurance companies when necessary.
• Stay updated on Xactimate software updates and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Must be fluent and highly experienced with Xactimate (minimum 5 years required).
• Proven experience in the Storm damage restoration industry (estimating).
• Strong understanding of restoration processes, techniques, and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce highly accurate estimates.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with restoration industry software is a plus.
• IICRC certifications (e.g., WRT, ASD) preferred but not required.
